The largest betta fish is known to be the giant betta fish. It is more significant than any of its nature. Consume the same diet but live in a larger tank than other fishes. It is because they are mated by selective breeding.

When selective breeding takes place, both of the fishes are from different families and different sizes. When a mate is completed, giant betta fish happens, and it is the largest betta ever known.

Giant betta fish are the most significant in this family. They need atleast a 10-gallon size tank or aquarium to live. Sometimes they can reside with other bettas, and sometime they can't get it. If it is a male giant fish, he will not ever hesitate to contact aggressive all the time.

And if it is a female giant, she will calm down in many ways leading other fishes to get close to them.

Siamese fighting fish is the title these fishes got only by the male itself. Their aggression and dominance all the time lead them to earn this title.

Koi galaxy betta

The rarest betta ever is known as koi galaxy betta. They don't reside in the same shallow water as other bettas do. They are so much harder to find in the local market, as well as through online vendors.

They can live in ponds or rivers that are slow-moving. Their diet and caring method remain the same, but the most noticeable difference is in their texture, i.e., skin color, tail shape, fin size, and patterns on the skin.

They are rare and expensive as well. One koi galaxy betta, whether it is they, will cost around $40 easily. They need atleast a 5-gallon size tank or aquarium to live and swim freely.

Their diet includes bloodworms, blackworms, larvae, mosquito larvae, and more. Keep in mind that the food must be rich in protein at all costs. If the food has minerals and other vitamins alongside protein, it is a plus sign.
